I got a new desk and I'm tryin to find a decent keyboard mouse thats wireless. Right now I'm using a dell keyboard and a microsoft classic optical mouse.

I don't really like wireless keyboard because I can type faster than the keyboard can send...so it really lags when I type...

Yeah, I'd stick with wired if you could... Otherwise MS has a pretty sweet wireless one that my co-worker has. The wireless entertainment desktop 7000 & 8000. I just really like the way the keyboard feels, then the fact it has no num pad is nice and convenient if your desk is kinda small...

pricy though.

I got an infrared wireless keyboard, kinda cool cuz it has a stick for the mouse too, lagging gets bad sometimes but I think it has more to do with my comp than the actual keyboard setup.
If I were to buy a new wireless setup, I like the microsoft wireless ergonomic set, love the mouse and the key board is coo.

If you go with one of the blue tooth sets you may avoid lag, something like

Yeah I thought that too, but it really is my comp, cuz I get the same kind of deal occasionally on my laptop when I got a lot of crap opened and I'm switching between screens as things load and what not. Only problem with the infrared is that there needs to be somewhat of a line of sight.

i have a pretty fast computer and even if i put the IR thing right in front of the keyboard i type way faster than it can recognize

iono man unless your typing 110 WPM + that doesn't seem possible. Is it a off brand wireless keyboard? IR / BT / RF ?

godshiPPy

was using the microsoft wireless...i think IR...and i type at 80+ wpm when it's complicated sentences. and you only have to type at like 65 wpm before it starts to lag. if i type at 120 wpm then it takes forever...it'll type out a whole paragraph late.

damn. I'll keep that in mind.

BUT! I do think that Bluetooth is much faster and recognizing...not sure though, if I remember correctly Hong's DiNovo was pretty freaking sweet, no lag.

My friend has that. He uses the touchpad on the keyboard fulltime. Can't stand that fuckin thing. I go there to do tech support and I bring my own mouse.

I would like that one except that ugly plastic on the bottom isn't removable.
