Saw it at the SF car show and man the thing is friggin sweet. Ok, let's be real, it'll probably have a milder 4g63 motor, and with some modding could probably bring the curb weight down, but truthfully, if they built I'd be very very tempted to buy; I love the way the new Eclipse looks inside and out, but no powertrain= no Don's money. Mitsubishi needs to build this or something along these lines (V6 twin turbo perhaps...?), it's about time for a new DSM or 3SI.

Pass... it's fugly. Mistu drive train needs a lot of work, even the Evo's have problems with their drivetrain.

Agreed, but I miss the era of sports coupes with practical use and mass produced tuneable motors (yeah, u know something sitting outside has been getting on my nerves lately... this time in the form of a timing chain tensioner that costs 140 bucks, what kind of a car has a faulty timing chain tensioner?!). But as I come to learn about cars, they all got their problems, your stealth is technically on its second tranny, my s2000 is on its second set of valves, 350Zs have tranny problems, tire feathering plagues almost all new sports cars and BMWs, BMW and Audis have electronic gremlins, WRXs have tranny problems, 300ZXs are impossible to work on, Supras are impossible to reasonably afford, RX7s are RX7s, it goes on and on.
My main gripe about the EVO was how they took a rental car and souped it up, at least now they'll make a reasonable sportscar.

Btw, not gonna get the new Camaro, the style doesn't work for me after seeing it in person, once again Chevy went overboard... hopefully the Challenger will be cheaper than it's scheduled to be.

yeah..agrt that it's fugly...it deserves a junior high level comment :P

and yes, tire feathering is a problem on basically ALL cars now a days...the way they setup the suspension and the way the tire sits on the vehicle, BAH! just doesn't maximize traction like it should
